Project 10: Silver Salmon Derby Logo December 6, 2011

And there it is, my design for the Salmon Derby.  I think it’s similar to older designs, but has the newer “cleanliness” that designs tend to have nowadays.

Project 9: Mandala October 31, 2011

This went smoothly, but I realized I hate that white outline.

Assignment 10: Silhouette logo October 25, 2011

Bam. There it is. Quick, simple, and I think  it looks cool. Did a quick selection, inverse selection, and then paintbrush to create the “glow”.

Project Eight: New Money October 25, 2011

I chose this background because it’s simple, Justice is one of the biggest names in House music, and music is just as important as any other art. I worked on my selection skills, there were a lot of small things that needed to be cut out.

Project Seven October 17, 2011

I have no idea what I’m doing anymore.

In all seriousness though, This went alright. Nothing particularly bad or good happened, except for having to start over due to a “bad message”.

Project 6: Robot October 5, 2011

I don’t like this project solely for the fact that my robot looks stupid. Other than that, everything went fine. No real problems with photoshop (except for trying to open a bitmap file).

Project 5 :Mt. Marathon Logo October 3, 2011

FINALLY DONE

Anyways, here is my design. Only used 3 out of 4 colors, and is fairly simple. I used skew, text, and elipses select quite often. Went fairly well overall, except for aligning the text on the side

Positive/Negative Space September 28, 2011

Two Versions of my Positive/Negative space experiment .

First is simply inverted with a few lines thrown in for definition.

Second has Glow and Charcoal Sketch applied.

Project 4: Profession Poster Faux Stencil September 14, 2011

I wanna make lots of money, so a business man came to mind.

It was a litte annoying editing the dollar signs, due to my mistake (too many layers). Otherwise it went fairly well. Finding something with splatter was almost impossible due to blocking, but I found an appropriate picture. Anyways, I am pleased, it went well, and I like the outcome.

Project 3 September 9, 2011

Here it is!

Overall I’ve refined my cropping, selecting, magic wand-ing, and many other -ings. I’m very happy with my finished product, but I’m a little frustrated because I couldn’t the backgrounds I wanted.
